It is important to us that we match your skills to one of our available apprenticeship roles. Our dedicated team will then support you throughout your entire apprenticeship, so you have the motivation, skills, and most importantly, confidence to succeed and truly believe in yourself. If you decide to apply for one of our apprenticeship vacancies, you will be asked to attend an assessment day which takes place every Thursday. If you are brand new to the workplace, you will also need to attend our two-week e-Academy programme, which will guarantee you an interview.

Data Analyst - Level 4

The Data Analyst Apprenticeship teaches learners or existing staff how to collect, organise and study data, to provide essential business insights to organisations. 

This course has been specifically designed to help the apprentice adopt an analytical mindset; which will provide a professional understanding of data and can then be used to improve the performance of the business and productivity of the workplace. 

- A minimum of 4 GCSE passes at grades D - E
- Entry-level 3 in English or Maths, or progression from ESOL
- Aged between 16 -18
- Completed college assessment
- Successful interview

IS Business Analyst - Level 4

The IS (Information Systems) Business Analyst will determine and present solutions on how information systems can be used to improve operational efficiency. The role embodies early and regular investigation and analysis that ensures the right IS solution is chosen to meet the required business need.

Through a delivery of blended learning, the apprentice is able to gain an understanding into business processes; facilitating and coordinating business requirements regarding the business change agenda.

- A minimum of 4 GCSE passes at grades D - E
- Entry-level 3 in English or Maths, or progression from ESOL
- Aged between 16 -18
- Completed college assessment
- Successful interview

Digital Engineering Technician - Level 3

This exciting Level 3 Apprenticeship enables learners to produce detailed solutions achieving an optimum performance of built environment projects via digital models and presentations using software, sketches and electronic visualisations. 

Through developing a knowledge of complex engineering principles, an integration of construction data and digital information, the apprentice will support digital engineers or other functional specialists. 

- A minimum of 4 GCSE passes at grades D - E
- Entry-level 3 in English or Maths, or progression from ESOL

Junior Content Producer - Level 2

The Junior Content Producer Apprenticeship focuses on developing and creating content which can be used across a variety of media including digital, social, broadcast and print. It will teach apprentices how to prepare and create content to express a brand’s visualisation or message to maximise engagement.

IT Support and Networking - Level 3

Each unit provides apprentices insight into the skills and knowledge needed for success - handpicked to align with current industry requirements in the workplace. Some of the optional units demonstrate a deeper understanding of networking fundamentals, remote support, software Installation and much more, giving apprentices a broad knowledge and the opportunity to pursue individual pathways.

Digital Marketer - Level 3

The Digital Marketer Apprenticeship offers a mix of digital marketing skills, web optimisation and social networking management. The course has been specifically designed to build a strong foundation for success - providing apprentices with the key knowledge and valuable skills needed to become a professional digital marketer.

Business Analyst - Level 3

The Business Analyst Apprenticeship is suitable for individuals seeking a business analyst, junior project manager or business support role. The course is delivered through a series of practical workshops and classroom-based learning where apprentices gain the valuable knowledge and skills needed to progress within their chosen vocation and to grow into new and challenging roles.

Software Development - Level 3

The Software Development Apprenticeship offers hands-on coding experience. It’s the first step into software development, providing the fundamentals for any future coder or software engineer. The units provided help build the foundation for a successful career, focusing on fundamentals, health and safety in ICT and the design and creation of advanced websites.

Infrastructure Technician - Level 3

The Infrastructure Technician provides support to internal and external customers, helping them to be productive when using technology to do their jobs. By using tools to problem solve and troubleshoot non-routine issues, this role sets people up on systems, providing support when needed and rectifying issues to maintain the organisations' productivity.

Digital Skills Trainer

Having worked across a broad spectrum of industries including FTSE 100, blue-chip and SMEs, Sukhy brings a great deal of expertise to the DSS digital classrooms. She is a CIM associate member (ACIM), and her previous roles include Marketing Management for Nokia and Walt Disney, where she developed her knowledge in B2B and B2C marketing, global events organisation, as well as PR in the film industry.

Lucy Brako

Digital Marketing Trainer

With a background in delivering vocational training and an online community of young professionals interested in marketing, Lucy is an ideal Digital Marketing coach. She specialises in social media channels and the mysteries of Google's algorithms.

Jason Davis

Functional Skills Trainer

Jason has extensive experience in teaching a wide range of professional subjects, including functional skills, team leadership, business admin and customer service. Before joining DSS in 2019, he worked in some of the most prestigious institutes such as City & Guilds, the UK's leading awarding organisation for work-based qualifications.

Martin is passionate and committed to making a difference in people's lives. At DSS, he can do precisely that. He leads our e-Academy programme, positively influencing individuals, and equipping them with the mindset and skills needed to succeed within the workplace.

Marcos Lourenco

Data Analyst Trainer

Marcos has a solid numerical background supported by a master's in mathematics with distinction from a Russell group university in Britain. He is the Lead Global Data Engineer at a Fortune 50 multinational company and has over 15 years' experience developing applications and models for Blue Chip multinational companies using C++, Python. At DSS, we couldn't wish for a better Data Analyst Trainer.

Joao Turbulento

IT & Digital Assessor

Joao is a Navy Officer and IT expert. He is soon to become a Master in IT Security and Digital Forensics. He has brought his wealth of knowledge to DSS in 2017, where he has excelled as our Cyber Security lecturer. He is also an accomplished assessor and curriculum developer and a mentor to all our learners.

Bobby Vilaisak

IT Technical Trainer

Bobby is a Computer Science graduate with a PGCE in ICT from King's College London and over 10 years of experience in education, both nationally and abroad. He joined DSS in 2018, delivering IT Infrastructure and Business Analysis. Always up to date with the latest technology developments, Bobby is a superb trainer, bringing the best out of his students at all times.
