Level 3 - Digital Support Technician

The broad purpose of a Digital Support Technician is to maximise the effective use of digital office technologies, productivity software, digital communications. In their daily work, There are two routes for Digital Support Technicians: Digital Applications Technician, and Digital Service Technician. 

- Individual employers will select which vendor or professional qualification the apprentice should take
- Level 2 English and Maths will need to be achieved, if not already, prior to taking the end point assessment. For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement the apprenticeship’s English and maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3 and British Sign Language qualification is an alternative to English qualifications for whom this is their primary language

Level 3 - IT Solutions Technician

IT Solutions Technicians work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, such as “DevOps” style teams, which carry out the full set of stages across the whole solution lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution development, testing, implementation and ongoing support. IT Solutions Technicians undertake duties across the complete IT solution/ Apprentices then choose one of two options: IT Hardware Solutions Technician or IT Software Solutions Technician. 

- Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve these prior to the end point assessment.
